Today we leave our San Jose motel for Santa Cruz. We ride past Alice's Restaurant on the climb over the coastal range and then down hill to the coast riding with a hopeful tail wind into Santa Cruz. Tough riding for M2 to defend his yellow jersey from the threatening pedals.
